At Cake Designers we pride ourselves on offering a service personal to you
Consultations can be arranged at a time to suit you
We are happy to see you at your home if this is more convenient

All of our cakes and sugar flowers are made by ourselves on our premises
Our cakes are made using traditional recipes, we do not use additives or pre mixes

Each cake we make is personal and individual to the finishing touch

Can I order a cake based on my ideas, in any design?

Our galleries show a selection of some of the cakes we have previously made
You can order one of these cakes with your own personal message
We can also make and design cakes based on your own personal idea or theme

How do I order a cake?

Each cake in our gallery has an option to order online.

Can I try before I buy?

We are happy for you to try samples of our cakes before you make your final booking
This can be arranged as part of your wedding consultation
Please let us know in advance if you would like to try samples

How do I pay?

We accept payments by cheque, postal order or cash
Because every cake is individual, we ask all orders to be confirmed before any transaction takes place
Once your order is confirmed we will send you an invoice

A 20% deposit is to be paid on Celebration, Christening and Novelty cakes

The balance is due on collection/delivery

A Ł50 non refundable deposit is needed to secure your reservation for Wedding & Civil Union cakes
We request that all balances are paid in full, 4 weeks before the reception date

How far in advance should I order a cake?

For Celebration and Novelty cakes we recommend ordering at least 2 weeks before the cake is needed
We recommend Wedding & Civil Union cakes to be ordered at least 2-3 months before the reception date
We are happy to take bookings up to a year in advance

Ordering times vary as we do get very busy, especially over the summer months

To avoid disappointment it is better to book your cake with plenty of notice

How much is delivery?

We offer free delivery within the Teesside area, subject to availability
Cakes can be delivered personally throughout the North East. Prices vary upon location
